Production log #21 - Completing My Magazine

Throughout the 3 weeks of school and the half term, I've strongly  focused on my magazine pages and tried to make it appeal as possible to my audience with the feedback I've received from the audience survey. I would take the survey results as an advantage in me moving ahead and being confident in using different skills and style. I've made sure that every feature of each page is bold and visible. I've also adjusted small things like adding social media in one of the double page spread, and tweaking the layout in order to make it look more professional and mature.

For my evaluations, istead of using different media sources into portraying my evaluation answers, I decided to make a magazine based on the evaluation questions and include my work and my answers. This is to boost the concept of 'magazines'. It is also a quick process to do, as my evaluations were already done, it was just about putting boxes and headings, then inserting the text in one go. Furthermore, I added more interactive assets like QR Codes to make sure that readers would be interactive with the magazine as well as looking through my blog to see all my work towards making the magazine.

Process - Changing Complete Layout (Front Cover)

As you can see from all the covers beside, there has been an extreme progress of mine throughout the project, from starting draft with rough ideas on where I've placed the sell lines, to the way it has been completely changed from fonts to the colours, proves that my progres is very strong because as a creator and editor of the magazine, few features of the front cover was not as appealing as what the cover is now.
Overall, the process of my magazine throughout the project has to be justifiable, this is because of my strong progress in using the software and designing the magazine.

Penultimate Magazine Draft

Production Log #19 - Magazine Page Improvements

I spent this week's lesson in focusing on completing my pages as there is a penultimate deadline in which I will be recieving final feedback from the teacher.
I focused mainly on all of my pages to make sure that everything fitted well into the page.
I had to adjust the size of the fonts, the positioning of the images and text. I also made sure that the most important codes and coventions of the contents page appeared.
I included another page which is a special edition article. I had some issues with colours as it came up to dark on the computers screens compared to some other computer screens where it's lighter. I also included another colour into the house style and that's grey. This made my magazine look more professional and classy.
